Die Letzte Metro recording sessions sampler 2015.2017

Die Letzte Metro started late 2014 with the recording of Les Aspirateurs concert at Bei Ruth. Since then we recorded gigs in different clubs in Berlin, and organized shows with local bands in the basement of Urban Spree. Most of the bands featured on that compilation took part of our program there, and have been invited for a two days recording sessions at Urban Spree when the club were left unused. We mixed the songs on our side, trying to give an external hear on the bands sound and songs, and make some productions propositions. On that recording sessions sampler, we choose to use our own mixes and versions, with the kind agreement from the bands, knowing it can differs from the “original” versions.

Our two very last “studio” recordings with Gym Tonic & PUFF will be released as a split 7” on the 19th of October - Ziegrastraße 11.

Damien Tran is in charge of the design of the sleeve, and has produced all the posters for Die Letzte Metro parties since the beginning, as well as the cover of this sampler compilation.

We would like to thanks the bands for their open mind and kindness, Urban Spree for help and support, Bei Ruth, the 8mm Bar, Internet Explorer, Damien, Martin, Sebastian, Timur, Yannis, Sabina, Jessica and Plume.
